Highlights

MidAmerica
Nazarene University, MNU, is located at 139th and Mur-Len Road in
Olathe, Kansas
-
Level-4
Engineering, LLC was retained to provide civil design for a new entrance corridor for
the University. A master plan had been done by others, and was
followed for design.
-
The
proposed entrance is further south than the existing one was and is
aligned with 139th Street. The existing entrance was removed upon
completion of the proposed entrance.

The
street signals were redone to create a safer signalized entrance
and exit to the campus.
-
Mur-Len
was widened to accommodate a deceleration/turn lane for the
south bound as well as a dedicated left turn lane for the north bound
traffic.
